Medication Assisted Treatment
Medication like Suboxone, Sublocade, Subutex, and Vivitrol are FDA-approved to treat opioid use disorder. Our physicians utilize these medications to help control your withdrawal and cravings.
NJ MAT believes in treating the entire patient, not just their symptoms. We offer comprehensive case management services. Our Licensed Social Workers can help you and your family get connected to any services you may need.
We use support systems like sponsors and Narcotics Anonymous to help you stay on track with your recovery. Group therapy provides a social outlet to help you express your emotions in a healthy manner. Group therapy is offered twice a week on Zoom.

Do you accept insurance?
NJ MAT accepts most insurance plans including BCBS, Medicaid, and Medicare. If you’re unsure whether we accept your insurance, please contact us at (800) 458-7610.
Are you currently accepting new patients?
Yes. Our doors remain open to any prospective patient looking to get started on their recovery. We do intake 7 days a week. To schedule an appointment, please call (800) 458-7610.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Our office does accept walk-ins. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, when you arrive at our office, please call before walking in. Make sure you have valid photo ID and your insurance card at the time of your visit.
Do you accept pregnant patients?
Yes. We have board-certified OBGYNs who specialize in treating Opioid Use Disorder during pregnancy. If you currently are taking Suboxone, you will be switched to Subutex.
What other services do you offer besides MAT?
In addition to offering MAT, counselling, group therapy, and case management, we offer a comprehensive primary care services. For more information, please visit the Primary Care tab.
Do you offer telemedicine?
Due to COVID-19, we are currently accepting telemedicine visits via Zoom for new and existing patients. To schedule a telemedicine visit, please use the Make an Appointment feature on our home page.
